How to Donate

Oct 11, 2021

Our marquee houses essential donations given to us by generous individuals, companies and donations through our Amazon wish list. Over the past 6 weeks, we have been massively appreciative to receive all sorts of donations, from clothes to toiletries to children’s toys to luggage. Thanks to your generosity, we have been inundated with donations and for that we are so grateful, but due to the influx in clothing items, we are now only accepting donations of brand new clothes or specifically requested items. We always welcome donations of underwear, excellent quality coats and jackets, toiletries, pushchairs, empty suitcases and luggage.

Here’s where you come in! There are a few ways you can help us out with donations.

  1. We update our Amazon wish list daily with the exact items we are lacking or in need of in the coming days. If you’d like to buy these specific items, find our wish list here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/hz/wishlist/ls/25DB93407V44K?ref_=wl_share.
  2. If you’d like to know exactly what we need on a certain day, contact us directly via social media, telephone or email, or come and see us at Unit 9, Griffin Centre, Staines Road, TW14 0HS. We’ll let you know exactly what it is that we need and invite you to go and collect, gather or buy these specific items and deliver them back to us.
  3. When bringing donations to us, we would hugely appreciate it if you could label each bag or box that the items are delivered in. For example, splitting up and labelling clothes into gender and size or splitting up toiletries into item. This helps us and our volunteers massively when we start organising and distributing donations in the tent.
